The corner of Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue is where Julianne and Nick first ran into each other. And I mean that literally – they physically bumped into each other in that crosswalk. What was once considered an accident, we now understand as a moment of fate. As that accident was the first time these two had laid eyes on each other and the start of this beautiful relationship, that they will continue to pursue for the rest of their lives.
It was so special to return to this corner, with the now engaged couple, and relive the moment when they first met. To stand in that spot and remember a time when they were unaware of the impact they would make on each other’s lives, while simultaneously daydreaming about the future they will create together, was powerful. The entirety of the shoot felt like a mini documentary of the progression of Julianne and Nick’s relationship. Starting on the corner of Lake and Hennepin, but continuing to explore and grow throughout the rest of city. And this is only the beginning. Congratulations Julianne and Nick! I love your story, I love your love, and I can’t wait to continue documenting it on your wedding day.
