While in Hawaii for the winter, I was able to reconnect with Anna and Jesse, whose destination wedding I was fortunate to capture in Montana several years ago. This time they brought along their daughter Amelia, the newest addition to their family! We all headed to the beach for some family photos, but along the way found out that Amelia has no time for sand! We did our best to keep her bare feet away from her newest nemesis. You’d never know that she’s secretly screaming into the sea in that last shot.

The light and weather for this family session was absolutely gorgeous, a great reminder of why I get out of Minnesota for the winter. I’m certainly not missing negative temperatures and layers, layers, and more layers.
