Kristen & Dustin let me get them into the water on this fine August day for some Minneapolis engagement photographs. Their photos reflect their personalities. Kristen was so happy and full of smiles, and Dustin looked at her with such warmth and affection. I know shooting their MN wedding photography this winter will be a cinch! True love does that.

Laura and Nick’s wedding photos are some of my absolute favorite to date. This bride and groom got married in Duluth, MN, one of the best places on earth! I love shooting MN wedding photography on the north shore of Minnesota. Laura and Nick got right down by the chilly water of Lake Superior for some incredible Lake Superior beach shots. These two were in such good spirits on this cloudy day (which makes for amazing MN wedding photography, by the way. Intense skies are the best!) I consider myself lucky to have been their Minnesota wedding photographer.

I’m really happy with the way Barbie and Chauncey’s St. Paul, MN wedding photographs turned out. These two couldn’t wait to walk down the aisle! I love shooting MN wedding photography that allows for dramatic silhouettes. This ceremony site at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul is perfect for this effect.

Katy and Brandon were a joy to work with as we shot their engagement photos at the Minneapolis Stone Arch Bridge. I love the lushness of Minnesota summers… This season is great for Minneapolis wedding and engagement photography! If you think you don’t like the humidity here, check out what it can do for engagement photography – notice how a wedding photographer can work with a little moisture in the air to create misty, almost fairytale-like photos of lovestruck couples.

I love shooting wedding and engagement photography in downtown Minneapolis near the Stone Arch Bridge because there’s a great dichotomy of natural and industrial backdrops. Krystina and Gabe were fun to work with and their engagement photos turned out great! This couple can definitely pull off the dramatic urban look I was going for in some of these pictures. It was a pleasure to be their Minneapolis engagement photographer!
