Talk about a beautiful wedding! Kelly and Ryan said their vows right on the rocky shore of Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota.  The Minnesota North Shore is one of my favorite places on earth, and I’m sure this sentiment is shared by many, many other native Minnesotans.   I can definitely see why couples would want to get married here.  I was one lucky wedding photographer to get to work with such a wonderful couple in such a beautiful place.  The weather was perfect, even though it was October, and the ceremony on the lake was simple and gorgeous and it made for some amazing MN wedding photography!

Jenna and Ryan had a beautiful wedding in Wayzata, MN. The weather was rainy off and on, which meant we got to take some cool MN wedding photography of the bride, groom and wedding party under umbrellas.  Luckily, the ceremony was indoors… but even if it wasn’t we’d have found a great way to make it work.  I’ve done weddings in the rain where each guest received his or her own umbrella to hold at the ceremony as gifts from the bride and groom.  Those wedding photos also turned out pretty spectacular!

Erin and Kellen had a beautiful wedding ceremony at St. Mark’s Church in Minneapolis. This gave us the opportunity to shoot some great Minnesota wedding photography at Loring Park and the famous Walker Art Museum Sculpture Gardens.  Minneapolis has such a superb variety of postcard-quality sites that are perfect for MN wedding photography.  Erin and Kellen’s wedding was classy and beautiful, and I am honored to have worked with them.

Katy & Brandon’s MN wedding photography turned out beautifully.  What a perfect day.  The bright sky illuminated the richly themed wedding colors – bright reds and oranges – on this early fall wedding day.  Hats off to you, Katy and Brandon!

Sarah and Ryan had a lovely wedding in September in Corcoran, Minnesota. I love shooting small town weddings because there’s always a vast array of scenery and backdrops to choose from, such as open fields of tall grass or big, shoddy old barns. And there’s always an opportunity for clients to jump on a four wheeler or tractor of some sort for some awesomely fun country-style MN wedding photography!
