This is why the Stone Arch Bridge area is the best place in Minnesota for engagement photography…. There is SO much to see and do in this area that there are virtually limitless options for creativity when it comes to photography. Joni and Cole, were such a blast to work with! We took their engagement photo session to the max, trespassing on railroad property (shh), and Joni and Cole even got in the water to pose on some old chairs floating in the Mississippi! What a fun couple 🙂

Clare and Brent came with me to a signature engagement photography destination under the Stone Arch Bridge. This location is becoming increasingly popular with clients because of the incredible view of the Minneapolis skyline and rustic natural backdrops below the bridge. Claire and Brent meandered down railroad tracks and skipped stones in the river for some awesome Minneapolis engagement pictures.

Nick and Katie were so easy work with. They were bright, upbeat, and willing to go the extra mile to have a good time!  We rented a horse drawn carriage to ride around town and get some fun and unique photos during this Minneapolis engagement session.  These two couldn’t have picked a better time of day… Under the setting sun, Nick and Katie played in a field of cottony dandelions for some dreamy silhouette pictures at the end of their carriage ride. Too cool!

Sarah and James joined me for a fun and energetic engagement photo session at the Stone Arch Bridge near downtown Minneapolis.  This is one of my favorite locations to take pictures because of the huge variety of scenery.  Here, engagement photography can have a backdrop of a beautiful city skyline, lush forest, grassy parks, boardwalk paths, babbling brooks, or an old fashioned stone bridge cutting through the Mississippi, all in one location!  Sarah and James had a great time wading through the water and climbing up rock ledges while we found the perfect places to take their engagement pictures.  They were naturals in front of the camera.  Thanks Sarah and James!
