Here’s another example of how bad weather can equal great MN wedding photography. Louise and Matt’s wedding day was dark and drizzly. But because of this, the lighting was perfect! We were able to use beautiful natural light for all of the outdoor shots, and we even took a few with the wedding party under umbrellas, which always makes for fun and interesting wedding photography. I don’t do too many weddings in the dead of winter in Minnesota. Probably because most people aren’t brave enough to risk a slippery, snowy wedding day. Denise and Lyman planned their wedding during the coldest month in Minnesota, and I applaud them for that. Their winter MN wedding photography turned out unique and special because of it. I love when a bride and groom willingly walk out in the snow for photos dressed only in their wedding apparel, with no jackets! Yes, it’s a bit chilly, but the pictures turn out to be fantastic. I had a wonderful time shooting Denise and Lyman’s Minnesota winter wedding photography, and now I’m more than ready to head out to Maui for the winter as planned. See you in May, Minnesota!

Go Team Jaglo!  For their wedding, Kellee and Jason made fun of the Twilight craze and had sweatshirts printed with a giant logo on the back of two hands high-fiving encircled by the words “TEAM JAGLO”.  I mentioned in my blog post about this couple’s engagement photo shoot that they have an incredible sense of humor.  Photographing their wedding was nothing short of amazing.  From giant glasses of wine at 10am, to Spiderman showing up at the reception, to hilarious cake toppers that were exact replicas of the bride and groom… I never knew what was coming next!  At the end of the night, Jason even broke into a rather impressive solo for his bride, on stage with a rock band accompaniment!  What an amazing night.  Thank you for choosing me to be your MN wedding photographer, Kellee and Jason!

Brett and Clare’s wedding was absolutely beautiful, thanks in part to their choice of ceremony site – the visually astounding Church of St. Agnes in St. Paul, MN.  The wedding party wore royal blue, and coincidentally, Brett and Clare ran into a royal party on the streets of St. Paul when we ventured out to take their bride and groom photographs.  Look for the wedding photograph of the bride and groom posing next to the vividly dressed king and queen!
